Description

Column ESS               

The ESS series products (Energy Storage System) adopt high-quality lithium iron phosphate battery cells, are equipped with an intelligent BMS (Battery Management System), featuring a long cycle life, high safety performance, and good sealing. They are equipped with a high-frequency off-grid photovoltaic inverter and a built-in MPPT controller, which can provide efficient and reliable energy solutions for off-grid photovoltaic power generation systems, energy storage systems, household photovoltaic energy storage systems, and industrial and commercial energy storage systems.

This system is equipped with an independently developed APP that supports IOS/Android. It enables remote control of battery pack charging and discharging, real-time monitoring of system operation data, and can quickly enter troubleshooting work when a system operation failure occurs, thus efficiently restoring effective power supply.

  • The A-class cell can charge and discharge 6000 times, and the B-class cell can charge and discharge 3000 times, and the default discharge ratio is 0.5C.

Application scenarios

  1. Home emergency energy storage (for grid fluctuations/power outages)

     Adaptation advantages: The product features "small size + no installation required", occupying only about 0.5㎡ (similar to a small storage cabinet). It can be directly placed on the balcony or in a corner without the need for professional electrician construction, perfectly addressing the pain points of rental houses, commercial housing, and self-built houses such as "limited space and inconvenient circuit modification". The 5.12kWh basic capacity can support a refrigerator (0.8kWh per day), lighting (0.2kWh per day), and a router (0.1kWh per day) to work continuously for 3-5 days. The wide temperature range of -30℃ to 50℃ can cope with cold waves in the north and high temperatures in the south, solving the problem of household basic power supply interruption under extreme weather, and is especially suitable for suburban areas or old communities with unstable power grids.

  2. Backup power supply for small commercial places (such as community convenience stores, small clinics)

     Adaptation advantages: It supports modular expansion (5.12kWh→15.36kWh). A 15.36kWh capacity can support convenience store freezers (2kWh per day), cash registers (0.5kWh per day), and emergency lighting (0.3kWh per day) to work continuously for 6-8 hours, avoiding product deterioration and loss of cash register data caused by power outages. The "replaceable battery pack" design eliminates the need to wait for charging; power can be quickly restored by replacing the backup battery during a power outage, meeting the needs of small businesses for "high loss from power outages and the need for quick power restoration". It also supports a wide voltage input of 170-280V, compatible with circuits in most commercial places without the need for additional voltage converters.

  3. Temporary outdoor power supply (such as campsites, small construction sites)

     Adaptation advantages: The product is lightweight (about 30kg per module), can be manually carried, requires no fixed installation, and can be flexibly moved to scenarios without fixed power supply such as campsites and outdoor construction sites. The temperature resistance of -30℃ to 50℃ can cope with environments such as large day-night temperature differences and low-temperature frost outdoors. IP20 protection (basic dustproof) is suitable for dry outdoor scenarios. The 5kW rated output can meet the power supply needs of "lighting, portable ovens, projectors" at campsites or "electric drills, small water pumps" at small construction sites, replacing traditional fuel generators to achieve noise-free and zero-emission clean power supply.

  4. Household wind power/photovoltaic supporting energy storage (storing electricity to save electricity bills)

     Adaptation advantages: The product supports the "PV priority" operation mode, with a rated PV charging voltage of 360VDC and an MPPT tracking range of 120-450V. It can be directly linked with household photovoltaic panels and inverters to store excess photovoltaic power during the day. During peak household electricity usage at night, it prioritizes the use of stored energy, and supplements from the grid when insufficient, reducing reliance on the traditional power grid and cutting down electricity expenses. The modular design allows flexible adjustment of energy storage capacity according to the installed photovoltaic capacity (e.g., 3kW photovoltaic with 5.12kWh ESS, 5kW photovoltaic with 10.24kWh ESS), avoiding problems such as "insufficient energy storage capacity wasting photovoltaic power and excessive capacity increasing costs".

Q: Can the column ESS be used with home solar panels?
A:

Yes, it supports connection with home solar inverters (voltage 43.2~57.6V), which can store excess solar power for night use and reduce electricity bills.

Q: How to replace the battery pack of the LESS series ESS?
A:

No tools are needed—just open the top cover, disconnect the power connector, take out the old battery pack, and install the new one. The whole process takes about 5 minutes.

Q: Is the column ESS suitable for small apartment storage?
A:

Yes, its compact vertical design takes up ≤0.5㎡ (about the size of a small cabinet), which can be placed on the balcony or in the storage room without occupying living space.
